WATERS

At long last, I’ve begun to build this little ocean. As poets, we’re all swimming in the same sea. It’s good to look around and say, “oh!” It’s good to know who we can rely on. Life, after all, is easier when it comes with poems.

Read this poem if you can’t get out of bed in the morning.

If you want to give up, read this poem.

Read this poem if everything is so hard but also wow so beautiful.

If you are in love, read this poem. Then read this poem. Then this one. This one. This one.

If your heart is broken, read this poem.

Read this poem if you want to go back to the way you used to feel about the world before each day was a countdown to its expiration.

Read this poem and this poem to love the world even as it expires.

If you’re excavating yourself from inside collapsed histories, read this poem.

If you’re still heartbroken read this poem.

If you’re still in love, read this one.

This list will grow as I have time & capacity to add to it… check back for new tide pools!
